spaciv brings together objects, properties, and layers to model your real estate and workplace data. This glossary explains the key terms and concepts used across the platform, helping you understand how they connect and how to apply them with confidence.
Object: A real-world entity represented in the spaciv platform, such as anemployee, room, or asset.
Property: A piece of information used to define an object, such as its size or location. Different objects can share the same properties in spaciv.
Layer: A structured collection of data within the spaciv platform.
Object Layer: A layer containing a set of objects and their associated properties.
Modification Layer: A layer that edits or overrides object properties within a stack.
Selector: A filter that determines which objects a modification layer affects.
Modifier: The value a modification layer assigns to a property.
Space Rule Layer: A calculation model that applies a specific workplace concept or space standard to objects.
Logic Layer: A calculation model that applies rules or formulas across a layer stack.
Layer Stack: A combination of object and modification layers grouped together to represent a scenario.
Composite Layer: The computed output of a layer stack, representing the result of all applied layers.
